When I imagine Beethoven's 32 complete sonatas with Wilhelm Kempff as pianist my benin gets a little harder.

Felt tedious.
But I stopped playing because at one point in the story I should have a skill or an item or a spell or another character with the specific ability or whatnot to proceed but without it I couldn't and there was no way to go back (unless load a save from over 9000 hours ago, and as I said it was tedious).
So it sucked.
Step 1:
Write a list with qualities you want your ideal partner to have. For example: Is financially stable, takes care of their body with exercise and hygiene, likes to do outdoors activities, etc. Whatever comes to mind and is important to you.
Do this now, and only then proceed to reading...
Step 2:
Now do your best to live up and embody these qualities yourself and put yourself out there. Engage with other people while you do it.
Step 3:
GF will naturally come to you.

not really, though i would not abuse my friends and partners irl since it's not okay, seeing your partner crying is not fun, it's cruel
but since we talk about fictional characters who will get nothing from your drawings/thoughts etc, coming from character idealisation to gruesome way of showing your affection is a result of how long you stick with certain character, as if "honeymoon period" coming to end
i sound like lolicon with this "it's fine as long as you don't rape real children"... it wasn't a goal to object an abuse towards the character, rather an attempt to explain why i feel this way

turns out i walk five kilometres from home to work every morning, today i ran these five kilometers because i was afraid I'd be late,
imagine running five kilometres in a sweatshirt with a backpack on your shoulder when running has never been your strong suit
im fine with walking for an hour instead of bus or taxi, just today i was supposed to come earlier than usual and didn't want to be late, so when it was 10:51 and i was supposed to be at work around 11:40 at least, and my fucking bus was late, i ran, and got to workplace first (11:25, earlier than expected)
