i've been keeping a kind of patchy journal for a few years now, its good to look back on the earliest entries and laugh at how mental i was and how i've kind of grown. the later entries are also good because they remind me of the even keel i was on at the start of this year when i have a depressive turn and start behaving irresponsibly.

its not all thanks to the journal, of course, but keeping track of your mental state and building a sequence of events in your life is important for staying grounded in reality imo. i can look through the pages and find bad entries, remember my state of mind then and associate it with thoughts in the present, which indicate that the train of thought i'm on leads to auschwitz

i doubt it is fake though i can not be sure. i have no idea what else they put in. it tastes kind of like sweet berries so there must be some kind of artificial flavour in there.

its even more interesting to keep track of which meals come out, as in how long ait takes. then you can track things like if certain meals are unhealthy or painful

yesterday - two days ago i suppose - i was helping a friend clean his place out. it was so much worse than what you've posted on the op. so very much worse. the stench was unbelievable, the guy carries it with him wherever he goes, so he has this reputation for smelling like piss. when i actually got down to it it was way, way worse than just piss.

there were flies everywhere, i doubt they'll ever leave, and we only got through half of one room. i slashed my hand on a ragged piece of metal and ducked out to go disinfect it, but i'll be back during the week.

it was all building up for maybe five years without a clean, so it'll be a fairly long term job, but the satisfaction garnered thereby will keep my current manic upswing going for at least a few days longer than it usually would last, then back en enfer.
