that happened to me often in life. someone starts to like me a little bit too much and then POOF they suddenly become me.
jogging is nice, i can get high from jogging when i listen to music that i really like. just in case you have not heard this: remember to thread lightly and use your legs as springs/suspensions that dampen every step with the muscles. when you do it right your steps hardly make a noise and if you do it wrong your steps are very loud. the louder the steps the more the knees get crushed.

Another source making similar claims is an article titled "The Cost of the Soviet Union's Atomic Bomb Project" (Die Kosten des Atomprojekts der Sowjetunion) by Mark H. Levy, published in 2017. The author writes that the budget for the development of the Pe-8 in 1946 was approximately 1.7 billion rubles, while the budget for the atom project was only 1.2 billion rubles.
Around 1.7 billion rubles in 1946 corresponds to roughly 225 million US dollars. This was an immense sum, particularly compared to the costs for the development of the atom bomb, which amounted to around 200 million US dollars.

i was parking near someone yesterday and spend the night and that dude seemed pretty generic. shaped by his local culture, strange local music taste which kind of seemed depressed and suicidal to me but it would seem normal to local people. he was living on the piece of land i parked in a little RV but the kind that hitches on a car and can't drive itself. he gave up his appartment but seemed very early into his journey into more freedom. had an evil job that he hated.
i didn't want the dude to worry so i just kind of did my best to be nice to the guy for a few minutes and i noticed what i noticed so often. when i am nice to people they want to stick to me like glue. after 5 -10 minutes he said he was sad that i was going away in 2 days and he considered it fate that i parked there and that it was a religious experience to him.
seems like all my interaction are either intense distrust when i am too distant or religious glue when i try to be nice. when i try to be nice i never find the off button. such cases.

currently i'm parked in the woods. actually found a big forrest region where cars can drive through on a gravel and dirt road. i've never experienced such peace. it is so nice and quiet. there arent as many opportunities to park as near the farmland but if i look long enough i can find a nice spot next to the road. i had known how much i was gonna like the offroad.
is just nice to be away from people.
when i drive around i look look out for them and whenever i find one that is nice, i'll bookmark the place on the open source map app. that way when i get tired and wanna park for the night, i usually have a few options lined up. but since i've done it often enough, i kind of know where i very likely find a nice space just from looking at the map since the map shows farmland, small farmroads, woods and buildings.
an example. when i am near farms (which i can tell by the light green color) i look for farm roads on that light green that cross each other (thus indicating they most likely are travelled on so much that they are wide enough so i can drive easily on them since the van is 2m wide) that are also far enough away from houses so no dwellers get spooked by the old van driven by the ungroomed unusual dude. then i look for dark green on that wide farm road indicating trees. that's likely an excellent spot.
if you upload a screenshot of a map, i can try to guess where nice spots are.

Berlin to Munich
By train: 125€ using the ICE. estimated duration is 4h47min but you have to add to that the time and the cost to go to the train station via public bus or taxi or whatever. plus the time and cost to go from the arrival trainstation to where you actually want to go. oh yeah and you need a place to sleep. you have to be at the home trainstation at 04:30. luckily 0 times of changing the train so that's nice. some asshole teenagers are on the train on a class trip and they bully and insult you and make video of you and laugh about you the entire time.
By car: 583km, which in my case would amount to 81,62€, estimated duration is 5h50min, that's one hour longer. i start from where i actually live, so no getting to the trainstation first. i start to drive whenever the fuck i feel like it. i don't have to rearrange my entire life to be sure to make that exact time. feel like going a day later last minute? NO PROBLEM WHAT SO EVER. NO FEE TO PAY, NO TICKET TO CANCEL OR RESCHEDULE, NO HASSLE. i make short breaks and strech and drink and cook whenever i feel like it, i might make a fap break halfway through and poop and pee in peace without having to use disgusting public bathrooms where i keep worrying i touch something that has STDs. also i can sleep in the car so no need to get a hotel.
i dunno mane train seems so much worse, i rather drive there but you do you boo. maybe people are actually civilized and pleasant in your country and you have no idea what animals people can actually be. if you used public transport in big cities often enough, you realize that it is not the solution people make it out to be.
i could accept how shitty it is, if it cost like 25€ to go from berlin to munich but that's not the price. the price is 125€ and that is such a bad deal...
prices for inner-city public transport have been steadily going up over the last years.
a ticket with the public bus should cost like 0,50€. for the price it actually costs i can drive 25km. the only advantage i see is that it can drive me to places where parking is impossible and i notice those usually aren't nice places i want to be at anyways. cramped places are torture to be at. just high density, many people in one place, that's usually a horrible idea for almost anyone.
bike is nice for completely predictable people. when you know where you go and what you do there and you can take the few things you need for that in a backpack, bike is nice, assuming you can lock it somewhere without it getting stolen or carry it with you when you go inside somewhere.
it sucks for going skating though. every gram of extra weight i have on me, even just a backpack, reduces the fun. if i take a helmet and safety pads in a backpack and end up not using them, i reduced the fun for nothing. if i want to switch out wheels or change bearings, it is nice to have replacement parts and tools in the car. it's nice to have 4 different skateboards and choose the one i feel like riding that day.
car is like a purse for men where tools fit in.

I actually did come pretty close to this during my month-long water fast, there was little shit nugget I couldn't poop out that was literally poisoning me for like two weeks into the starvation, and as my rectum got lazy thanks to lack of any job to do, I couldn't force myself to do a single bowel movement. The bastard moved for a cm per day best. You cannot imagine the relief I experienced when I finally managed to push it out, and the toxic monster was just the size of a fingernail. Again, I'm not exaggerating when I say it was poisoning me, all sorts of nasty toxins are released back into the body by a stale poop. After that I just didn't poop at all until the fast was over.

I've got a project that requires some ENG-JPN translations, and sadly I found that said MT software just doesn't do the job. I need someone familiar with the language to look over what was generated for me and tell me if it's garbage(and hopefully correct me if possible)

Funny, I actually reached out to proper translators, and good lord are their prices kiked beyond belief. I would ruin myself financially with how much text there is.
No, I am looking for someone who can help me pro-bono, ideally someone who is either learning english or japanese. There is over 300 entries for games and each one has a short 1-2 sentence summaries, but it all adds up. I think the MT is good enough to use if need be, as is or with minor editing, but it will sound extremely grating to native JPN speakers, better than nothing. There has to be some communities or individuals out there who could use the practice or would be interested in a project like this, but alas I can't think of any. Even a few entries being looked into would be useful, to give me the idea of what else I could fix or change, if there is a pattern with how MT software translation works(I assume the biggest problem would be the lack of context that machine simply can't detect or know, others would be not using the proper "slang" your average JPN gamer uses)
