Orbán is pro-Israel/Netanyahu. The only thing that actually matters in Hungarian foreign politics. If that's pro-Russian for you, then it is.
Hungary is part of NATO. If that is pro-Russian, then it is.
Hungary is part of EU. If that is pro-Russian, then it is.
Saying stuff, like Ukraine can't join to NATO for she is in a war, or that Ukraine has unresolved territorial issues and can't join NATO, are facts. Hungary had to repeatedly confirm that we have no territorial demands against anyone before we allowed to join NATO. If stating facts is pro-Russian, then it is.
Orbán says these days that the war have to stopped right now with a cease fire, and then have to sit to the negotiating table, to close the war. Fact is, if we stop at this point, and Russia can have everything she's occupying at the moment... that is bad for Russia. For example Russia must have places like Odessa because the war showed that with attacks from there the Black Sea fleet can be wrecked, and whole Black Sea shipping is in danger. Or for example if the war stopped now, then Ukraine could gain time to train fresh troops in peace, the West could spin up weapon production and arm Ukraine a round 2. If this is pro-Russian, then it is.
The liberal school of foreign relations says that trade and interstate relations make and keep peace. The stronger the trade and other relations, the less chance for war. Orbán says that we should trade with everyone. If that is pro-Russian, then it is.

sure, we started to learn german in 5th grade but nobody gave a fuck about it, me either till 10th grade when i decided to become a translator and learn german as second language after english, visited extra german classes, don't remember a half but can read post on pr0, it's a little victory i guess

Frankly there is very little interactions between the Hungarian and Russian govt. Liek Orbán always in Brussels, and visits countries about. He was liek once right before the war in Moscow, then once since. In three years. Couple of phonecalls, but that's it.
If Russian telly says that Orbán is pro-Putin is because they use him to show Russian population that Moscow isn't isolated in the West entirely.
For Kiev it's good someone to blame for lack of support and failures. **Imagine Hungary is that powerful to stop the whole West from supporting Ukraine...**
