I would love it if self-winding watches were more common – I know there's been some watches being made since late 18th century where weights inside the watch would wind it powered by wearer's movements. And there were also some clocks which use daily environment temperature variations to wind themselves - e.g. the Beverly Clock.

Made my mother watch a russian film, and she asks if Russian is related to other european langauges because it doesn't sound like it to her. She also watched Polish show and commented that they aren't Russian because Russians are "darker".
