Doctor Bernd, is this some kind of nail fungus?
I've been wondering about the state of my toes for several years now.
My big toe nails have been looking like this for like over a decade now with those white vertical lines - what are those?
I kind of remember being a little Bernd (like over 20 years) ago and I bumped my right toe on a sun lounger while being barefoot and seeing one split afterwards. Could this be related?
It's also possible that the amount of 'vertical lines' changed over the years and sometimes I think to remember there are days where it less visible (or rather just one line instead of several) than other days, but I am really not good at self-perception and ignore medical issues usually for a long time.
If it really is nail fungus and those splits are the indicator for it: Why would it take nail fungus over a decade to not look like one of those yellowish horror pics you see on the internet when googling nail fungus? Can nail fungus take decades to destroy a nail like that?
I am over 30 years old, I am not overweight nor do I have diabetes. I am a medium smoker (could explain the yellowish touch maybe?).
I had an eating disorder for several years in my late youth/early adult life and was most likely suffering from malnutrition.
Nowadays I try to eat not only shit, but I tend to eat a lot of the same stuff/dishes usually even though that includes oatmeal, veggies and fruits, nuts etc. Still I am not that heavy (63kg ish).
Could it be some vitamin deficiency? Iron? Vitamin D? I try to avoid being in the sun even more so in summer and a few years ago a doctor prescribed me highly dosed Vitamin D pills. I haven't supplemented Vitamin D since a year, so most likely I do have a Vitamin D deficiency (again).

The hatred that average Russians demonstrate towards Ukrainians is their "illegal" hatred of their own government "legally" projected onto a neighbouring country. Therefore, Russians solidarize with their government on the grounds of hating it passionately, while accepting this absurd conflict, offered by Moscow, as a way of fulfilling their chthonic power fantasy, with Kremlin and oligarch villas in mind and Ukrainian dachas at hand, much like a young gentleman who closes his eyes to imagine his loved one, while actually fornicating a harlot.
