I have same problems. Finding Friends when you are older is very difficult. People are reluctant to make new friends. I dont want to look desperate but i could really use some frens.
I'm trying to have a social life again, but it is really difficult.
There are two friends I used to hang out with, but they don't want to meet anymore because they are sick right now and in general have covid concerns even though we're all vaccinated already.
I only have a few other acquaintances and I'm trying to reach some by phone now, but so far nobody has picked up.
I'm also looking at different events that are going on in my city on the weekend, but I'm not sure where I would like to go or what would be best to have some social interaction.
I was also planning to go swimming again, but due to covid restrictions and the weather this is a difficult project, too.

Back in May I handed in my Osprey backpack under its lifetime warranty because I had abused the life out of it. I wandered into the store after work without my shoes because I forgot them in someone else's truck and to cut a long story short, I might get a new backpack because the courier lost my insured package and haven't found it.
