As a child, I was attracted to reading books because my parents had many of them and some had interesting pictures. There was a particular one I liked and wanted to read and did so soon after learning how to read. Already in primary school I was reading books for adults.
Some people never read books outside of school.
I think that makes for a large gap in things like recursive language.

I recognize the pic he posted, one of the many he'd use to bump threda along with his crusade against morrowindbags and introduced me to the greatest rpg ever made. Have yet to finish it, had weird bugs like every enemy and essential npc disappearing when I traveled far north early on. Gothic 1 is enough for now, prison colony is the peak setting.

You know, guys, one of my hobbies is worldbuilding - what I'm making is a low fantasy world where I try to keep things realistic, or at least authentic, and yet which primal drive is my sense of aesthetics. Maybe you should actually talk to her about the topic, maybe ask her for her favourite anime, instead of trying to gatekeep and make sweeping assumptions. It seems to me you're looking for a reason not to like her. You're probably afraid of being rejected by her and want to find a reason to reject her first.
Try to think differently. Wouldn't it be nice to introduce her to such an anime classic?
