Yeah, 11%. However, this is also due to the fact that many companies in these countries are not even listed on the stock exchange because the stock and capital markets are not yet as developed as in the industrialized countries. Companies find other ways to finance themselves.
In the end it's a matter of perspective and it depends on which "evaluation standard" you take. For example you could also say that EM are 40% of global GDP. I think, it makes sense to invest in EM, because they're a huge part of the world and represent a much bigger population than even the Industrial countries. EM ETFs developed quite well.
Anything under the real market weight is underweight and everything above the real market weight is overweight and thus and active bet against the market. A passive index investor will follow the market weight. Today the EM can be ~10%, tomorrow they can be 1%. Investors who choose to take an active bet like buying 70-30% are saying they know better than the markets what will happen.
It is much easier to just follow the market index passively and take your own bets out from the equation all together.
But passive investing is always lagged to the actual market, meaning that any significant shifts are going to have an outsized negative impact on passive funds (see the current situation where tech was very over valued and things like energy were massively undervalued). The index will wind up selling tech low and buying energy high in the next rebalancing
The stock market is the worlds most sophisticated and effective machine that attempts to bet the future. ALL the known factors and risks priced in. It keeps revaluing itself constantly. When something unknown and disruptive as the Corona shock or Putins invasion happen, all the stocks get revalued, because the future does not look so bright anymore.
There is no lag, they are following the market as they develop. Someone claiming to know how to predict when "laggs" happen (this man should be able to know when the stock market will lagg upwards as well) will be the worlds richest man.

When you buy nicotine base from now illegal sources, you can essentially get 3 years worth for 100 Euros while the same amount of shots would easily go into the thousands.
I bet it cut into their earnings to a large enough degree, in my old office in ~2010 back when I started vaping it was the most heaviest smoker that would visit the smokers lounge in a 20 minute rhythm that first started it off.
That guy burned through at least 2 packs per day and first was only smiled upon about his new "electronic cigarette", still one of those early stick battery pen vapes.
But after giving it a second thought, a lot of other smokers got a starter kit themselves, myself included and some just stuck at it, as the cough went away and cost decreased drastically.
Also don't underestimate how many people were able to slowly fade out nicotine from the juice and then quit the habit altogether, something that hardly ever comes up in official discussions, they still want to sell their shitty nicotine gum and adhesives.
And as I said, the market was run by vapers themselves, lots of small businesses that eventually started to developed more advanced vapes that catered to the communities needs and wishes.
Especially those small businesses got smashed without mercy by EU regulations, as so often before, they made things prohibitively expensive to enter the market at a small scale and they already had to struggle with cheap Chinese copies of products they initially developed and produced locally.
You can see the same thing happening in gastronomy for example.

y i just had a dream that i was a student in finnish university. some project where they were stocking up on cheap nutrients in giant warehouses. i travelled through them on train. there were billions of mosquitos in one, and nestles in the other. they wanted to turn this into a biological mush which they would feed into a self sustained artificial biological system. i guess this would be used as some sort of energy but i couldn't understand it.

Your theory might have merit tho, but the doc I consulted for that just brushed it off that there can't be any correlation and came up with the regular treatments instead.
Meanwhile you can give me half a kilo of regular quark and I can reproduce that effect within one night of sleep, that's literally how I found out about it and tried again at a later point after staying clear of all lactose products for some time.

What keeps the different sites from taking my login information and using them without my permission? Sometimes sites go down permanently and they still have the informations provided by the users which can be used against their will.

If you are lazy just put a notepad file on your desktop with the site, passwords and username and such that you update each time. Then you always ctrl + f (and ctrl + c and ctrl + v) the password from there.
This lets you make the passwords deliberately difficult to guess.
Just don't get your computer hacked bruh. You could do the same with a physical notepad that you keep next to your keyboard.
