Things that don't directly affect you and about which you can do nothing about to change them shouldn't have a drastic impact on your mood.
eg. if Putler invades the urine it does not affect your life in the slightest besides maybe a couple percent in inflation. Also if you have a bad mood about it it won't stop the ruskies nor will it help the urine.
If you feel bad about something like this it does nothing besides making your life miserable and you should work on that.
Most things that currently make you feel bad most likely are things that don't actually make your life worse at the moment or things that you can do nothing about. If those things make you depressed you should work on that.
If this is not the case and you can actually do something about them you have to actively make the decision if you want to work towards making this situation better or not. And if you actively do something to improve the situation you can even feel better about yourself because you are actively improving your life.
