To eat fish (like the white bass) is so bullshit.
You not only spend centuries and get your hand dirty separating the meat from the bone/fins, when you buy it you are also paying for the weight of the head among other useless inedible parts.
Literally a scam.

Some species has less bones, like catfish or trout.
And you use to heda to maek fisherman's soup. This needs a base, cooked from the heda and fins, then the bits are ground essentially, separating everything that's inedible, then some real slices of the fish is cooked with the base. The base is often cooked from carp or a bunch tiny fishes, and the slices are catfish for example.

It's gettng worse when you realize how much of a hassle it is to deliver FEEEESH once you've unloaded it from a ship it VLADIVOSTOK and now you have to
a) devileliver it to Moscow
b) make sure ppl will buy it
It takes a fridge train to deliver frozen fish, for instance, hence real fish (bones etc.) is almost as expensive as fillet (no bones, no nuffing)
