Besides, just like the Kazan gang phenomenon itself the entire movie screams "brought to you by KGB", the goal was to turn young people into obedient cannon fodder then and it is the same now. Bimmer was a genuine work of passion full of truth recognizable by hardcore people who lived the life, just like me.
