Why do most people use Chrome?
GermanyBernd2023-02-25 11:52:10 · 3yNo. 257279reply
Half of those are Chromium based.
You only get the choice between Chromium-based or Firefox. Basically.
And Firefox is a sjw bloated mess.

>sjw
What does politics have to do with how good a browser is? I also don't know how a piece of software can be "sjw".

It has direct implications on the product if incompetent people flood the company and get pushed to the top for diversity reasons and not for merit.

I agree that such a high salary is morally questionable, but I would like to see some examples of the direct implications you're talking about. You quote a layoff of cybersecurity staff. But has it impacted the security of Firefox? Was it weakened? I don't think so and I don't see any indications of worse security in new versions of Firefox.

It is widely accepted that Chromium beats Firefox in terms of security. Just google for comparisons.
I used Firefox for a long time but eventually noticed that Chromium performs way better on an old Laptop of mine. That's why I switched to Chrome.
