what was the weirdest thing you've seen?
United StatesBernd2022-10-17 10:34:08 · 4yNo. 233678reply
I liked it, comfy and it was kinda crazy to see almost only white pipo and Asians for two weeks. Bratislava was a shithole until you get to the old town/castle area though

The varied architecture of budapest is ebun
I liked how budapest public transit relies on trust.
Yes, Saint Luke's
Unfortunately my last day I saw some dude shitting in a public square. I was breddy upset

Aside from that, it was odd seeing so many attractive women with ugly dudes

Liec. Hungary is full of gypsies.
United StatesBernd2022-10-17 12:34:13 · 4yNo. 233705reply
Well they were mostly situated about the train stations and so on. I kinda blocked them from my memory
AustraliaBernd2022-10-17 12:35:58 · 4yNo. 233706reply
I've always been far too shy to visit Hungary. What are the people there like?

Oh well, you know what they say. Rude people are the most honest of all personalities! And besides, I would only like to see what the country is like.

Did Central Europe feel like a culture shock to you? Could you characterize the differences between Americans and Europeans a bit more from your perspective?
PolandBernd2022-10-17 12:55:40 · 4yNo. 233713reply
people in Europe usually don't smile at strangers the way Americans do
doesn't mean they're cold
United StatesBernd2022-10-17 12:59:48 · 4yNo. 233714reply
Nod really a culture shock at all. There were definite differences in terms of how people are and their general demeanor, even in places like shops and so on. Sure there was less fake smiles and so on, but I didn't feel as if it was a huge difference
I'm a shizo and never smile unless I'm genuinely happy, so I sort of fit in. People generally spoke to me in Hungarian as opposed to immediately starting in English (as was the case in Turkey) which was different, same in Austria
PolandBernd2022-10-17 13:05:46 · 4yNo. 233716reply
why would they speak to you in English? unless you're BIPOC you probably don't look any different from Hungarians and Austrians (but Turks would be able to tell you're a foreigner)
AustraliaBernd2022-10-17 13:05:47 · 4yNo. 233717reply
Everyone should stop smiling for no reason and express what they truly feel, do you agree? There are many fraud joy here.
United StatesBernd2022-10-17 13:45:33 · 4yNo. 233739reply
It's something I noticed would happen even for Spaniards and such in restaurants, they'd usually start immediately in English

I look like a low iq slav for sure
