I am no expert, I don't think they are very similar since my mother uses lesser and simpler ingredients such as potatos and carrots and I think she just switches the meat accordingly what happens to be around, be it sausage or minced meat or something else depending on the situation. I don't know what spices she uses but I love it.
Solyak seems to use more ingredients.
