Seems nice, congrats. But isn't it to save space? You seem to have plenty. Or has the setting some added benefit?

Can some German edit a translated picture of that for me? Seems interesting, I want to save it for future ideas whenever I get my own yard.

It also takes a lot less to water them and you have almost no risk of weeds growing in the pipe, which also saves you a lot of time because usually you'd have to remove them.
Another big plus for this is that strawberry plants live for multiple years, but they are prone to dying from frost in winter.
Many of my strawberry plants died this year when it suddenly got -25 degrees (usually it doesn't go below -5) so with this pipe you can as well just reposition your plants if needed.

Update
Bernd 2021-04-16 21:23:34 ⋅ 3y No. 113661The strawberries are doing well, but I had to cut the pipe in two pieces because I messed up the watering system.
Today a friend sent me 5 tobacco plants, they haven't seen the sun for two days and thus look rather weak, but I hope they will get well soon.
The region where I live is in the warmest region of Germany and actually has been famous for tobacco plantations but a lot of big companies settled down here and so the people sold all the plantations to people who built ugly houses.
Sad.
I don't smoke, but I do like the smell of dried tobacco.
When I was a kid I liked to watch some guy at a medieval market every year who showed everyone how cigars were rolled traditionally, and this summer I can hopefully try it myself.
