Do you think demographic crises can be beneficial.
Black death is an ancient example but was potentially the reason workers have a lot of rights in Western Europe. Because a lot of workers were kill. But it seems not many people write about other examples of demographic crises.
Maybe this will force workers to become more productive and promote automatization? I'd love to work in automatization.
I'd research it myself but I have stuffs to do.
I just want to find silver linings in things.

India needs one but unfortunately their immune systems are unusually resistant.
Overall things will level out on their own, as the higher races will have better access to medicine and clean water. The only true nightmare scenario is a bioweapon that is persistent, like HIV.

I just hope there will be less people competing for housing now lol. Unlikely in Moscow though

This reminds me how I've heard about "inevitable" scenarios in the future where a super virus or other sickness will emerge because we're constantly selecting for stronger bacteria with antibiotics and such. Perhaps Indians will inherit the Earth because they're undergoing through the same's.

India counterweights Chinese influence in Asia, I'd rather keep them alive if anything.
>the higher races
Those would be? Give the lower ones some time, they might soon (though not in the near future) be on par with US/Europe if fortune is in their favour. Adaptability is something all races have in common.

Yes.
Consider it like pruning grapes. You cut back, you inflict stress to cause growth. This is how living systems work.

>India counterweights Chinese influence in Asia,
Indeed.
>I'd rather keep them alive if anything.
If we build this new shiny multipolar world, the more poles the better.

It is literally a sign a development in the modern world, I don’t like it when people complain about how “we’re not making babies”. It’s a good thing there are less of them and it cost a lot of money to rise one. I will not have kids to continue this trend because I am a man of the develop world.

Regardless of what comes after, it introduces a long transitional period when there's not enough youth to support this many older people (hence the word "crisis"), how do you propose to go around that?
