i'm surprised how similar the nature looks (except for the big trees, which i have not seen here) compared to this continent.

I would assume IDS to be a pseudo phonetical representation built upon stereotyped high nosal mispronunciation written in capital letters to have exclamation effect. Stands for "it's".

could also be short for "i did something"
