Quality of life continues to decline even on the West. Pandemic is making people feel very irritated, war is being discussed, inflation is eating savings, wages haven't gone up in a while... People are ready to snap, protests are everywhere.
Why are people chimping out about stupid stuff? Being mad about an alleged covid conspiracy is dumb and will not help anyone.
The real reasons why life is bad are either out of our control or lie in the hands of billionaires and corrupt politicians. Yet these people remain unbothered.

And again you couldn't be more wrong.
Big corporations are prospering not because they are the government but because the government is not there & they can do jobs government should do themselves.

And they hate it. This is why there's so much antivax propaganda. Big pharma only made a vaccine because government wanted them to, so they made a product they can sell to the government and at the same time run a propaganda campaign against their own government.
That the vaccine doesn't work is a lie made by the big pharma itself.
Pharmaceutical industry makes far far more from selling medications to be used on patients (even generics are more expensive than vaccine shots for all), and on selling corona tests.
Slovenia pays a MILLION € daily for corona tests. In only 2 weeks, that's more than the price of vaccinating our entire population (with the reasonable price product made by AstraZeneca, not the Pfizer scam).
Btw. If historically governments weren't stronger and could bend big pharma to their will, we wouldn't have had historical successful vaccination campaigns. Because making a vaccine is against the benefits of pharma industry.
Btw (2), you're saying "unelected" as if that's a bad thing. You may want to rethink that...
